About the exhibition
The Met's Spring 2012 Costume Institute exhibition, Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations, explores the striking affinities between Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, two Italian designers from different eras. Inspired by Miguel Covarrubias's "Impossible Interviews" for Vanity Fair in the 1930s, the exhibition features orchestrated conversations between these iconic women to suggest new readings of their most innovative work. Iconic ensembles are presented with videos of simulated conversations between Schiaparelli and Prada directed by Baz Luhrmann, focusing on how both women explore similar themes in their work through very different approaches.

Best dressed at Met Gala 2012 would definitely be Coco Rocha. All eyes were on her with her gorgeous tribute to Schiaparelli from her outfit all the way to that fab pink dipped hair. It all very suitable for this year's exhibition. Another wise fashionista is Carey Mulligan in the attention grabbing Prada number.
To me, not only you are to dress well for an event you are to dress appropriately. These two girls definitely did a great job! I'm now crazing (if there's such a make believe word) over those crazily fab pink tip locks.
Worst dressed are Kristen Steward and unbelievably, Florence Welch. Though I know how daring you have to be for MET Gala, these two are just a tat bit awkward to me.
Kristen's outfit is full off from the runway of Balenciaga. Don't ever put such a dress on an awkward looking person like Kristen seriously. It makes me feel uncomfortable looking at her.
The most disappointing was to see what Florence Welch wore. She looks one of those horrible looking maid of honour.. Or maybe a Chirstmas tree or fir... Nonetheless she did not put Alexander McQueen into shame, she wore it happy and proud I'd have to say.
