It was a pass.
I'm grateful that the lecturer (interviewer) was friendly and really nice. She's a Mexican who came into the room full of nervous wannabe-fashion students with smiles.
Most importantly, she was full of warmth and very encouraging.
Good, fantastic and excellent could be heard throughout the interview.
But sadly, I did not manage to show her all my works in my portfolio especially this one, inspired by Richard Hanes from http://designerman-whatisawtoday.blogspot.com which I'm loving the most! I came across this blog while reading Nylon Korea and bam! An inspiration just came to me.
What I saw today... was my designs being worn.
I think for all designers the biggest satisfaction is to see their own designs being worn while you're just idly walking on the streets.
And this is how I came up with this oil pastel painting.
All thanks to Nylon Mag, Richard Hanes, etc for being my inspiration in completing my portfolio. All that is left now is to wait for an acceptance letter from Lasalle and I'll be BA(Hons) in Fashion Management in making! Excited! :D
Love,
M
