Alright, so enough rambling!
I'm sure you all know I was invited to be part of a mini showcase on Tuesday for a rather renown boutique in this sunny island, Actually. For those who don't know, Actually is one of the few stores here which carries uprising brands (Asia & International). And for their S/S 2011 show, Colour Rush featured brands like, Kaal E.Suktae, doii paris and Alabelby.
Out of all the showcased men's collection by alabelby, these two were best- Tough but nevertheless, all kept simple and basic.
The above are all from Kaal E.Suktae, a Korean brand. And I have to say I love the entire collection but these are my top 4. The collection just screams modernistic. I love how fabrics of different nature are put together- stiff and flowy. And it just feels like woman- no matter how tough she appears to be there's still yet a soft spot within. Of course, geometric is one of the key essentials in this collection too.
Not sure if you realised, Jeffrey Campbell shoes were used to complete the whole look. Sky-high but still, fabulously comfortable to walk in. I stared at them quite a few times in the store and backstage. And finally I know where to go to for JC shoes! No need to have them shipped! :)
Claps, smiles and sighs of relief were all found after the show. I thought it went well. No disaster = successful show! I had a good time. The staff were great. If you had to ask... The only bad thing was to get out of the "white eye-mask" make-up! And till now, I'm still thinking of that electric blue cape blazer and those Jeffrey Campbell shoes! Hmm...
