Marina Bay Sands

Like I've mentioned previously, here are the photos from my trip.
And it's really such a pity that I didn't capture the fabulous city scene well.
But I'll be going there again soon and hopefully then, I'll take some better pictures to show all of you.

My room was GREAT! This is the best part of the trip.
The room's soooooo darn spacious (it could hold a party with 20 people)
and the room facilities are fab as well.

Also, I'VE GOT THE CITY VIEW ROOM!
And it's... DUH?! Breath-taking!!!

But of course for a city view room at the upper floors are a little more pricey (around 500+ per night for a room like mine). However, one thing I do not like is the hotel service where giving guests newpapers in the morning is a norm. And yet, they didn't manage to do that. A simple service like this, should be done by a five star hotel. And the lobby (picture below) should have been better designed. There're no freaking seats during peak hours! WTH really.

The mall's kinda bad too. Though the boat thing was something unexpected. There should be more thoughts put into designing the river. It's just plain boring. I wasn't even interested in taking a ride ont he boat. Also, lodsa shops aren't open for business yet. So I was really put off when I walked around the mall. I was so set to go shopping but most of the shops were all not open! Urgh.




So I decided to take a walk outside instead. And got some pretty photos.
The building with that boat on top is the Marina Bay Sands hotel that I'm talking about.









The next thing that I like was the infinity edge pool really. Love the design, and the idea of looking into the bustling city while swimming. :)




These are photos taken from the sky park. And I serious don't know why there're people wanting to pay and get a ticket just for this. Honestly, it totally isn't worth it, for now. Because everything up there is still under construction and the only pretty thing is the view. The rest, nothing. Not even the sovenier shop is nice. Probably just wait a few months when everything's up and done and then come over again.

And it's a pity really that I didn't manage to take photos of the night scene. At night, the view is soooooo much nicer. Sparkly and all. The hotel closes the park WAY TO EARLY! *rolleyes It closes at freaking 10.30pm! Who does that really?! Sure the park can be close for public at that time but for hotel guest, how could it really. Totally disappointed.

Overall the trip was not as good as I thought. If I were to rate it, I'll give it 4.5 over a total score of 10. When everything is all done up, I'll come back again. Till then, I don't really suggest people on going there for a stay.
