H&M's Blue Velvet

I absolutely adore this new fall 2012 campaign by H&M. Definitely a brillant take to hire Lana Del Rey as the face for the campaign and uses the idea of a music video to promote this fall collection. The whole music video is gorgeous and Lana singing the cover for Blue Velvet is breaktaking. The use of 1950s music and the set paired off with Lana's signature style is genius, not to mention all those glamour did not overpower the clothes but instead compliment it really well.

Here are some of my favourite items from the collection. Although the whole campaign was set in the 50s, the collection is really modern. Tight jeans and leggings, perplum top and glamourous chandelier earrings. That pink furry sweater will be the top of my wants list- all suitable for fall/winter, it's that piece where you would want to snuggle into  makes you unable to deny. And those gorgeous printed  leggings paired with the dark red velvet shoes, makes you want that cold harsh season to come fast.
