When hell freezes over,

ice cream Pictures, Images and Photos

Okay so I know there are like tons of people asking me about my trip to Hokkaido
and express displeased when I replied, ' Uh, yeah. It's okay.'
The thing is because as I've mentioned
my flight was cancelled and rescheduled the next day
and so this is really the last memory I have on my trip, a bad one in fact.
Thus really, it's, erm... making a not-so-good impression on the trip already.

Alright let me tell you how bad it is on my departure from
Hokkaido's Chitose International Airport.
First, there are only two bloody x-ray machines in the entire airport.
One at the check-in counter and another at the departure waiting area (?)
The bad part is we need to queue at each machines for like an hour! It's like WTH.
Oh yes and when we first arrived,
we had to queue at the custom for like an hour plus for goodness sake.
It's like totally stupid.
It's packed, hot and crowded in that damn place. Seriously, urgh.

Snow freezes travel in Japan
TOKYO - HEAVY snow blanketed northern Japan on Friday, stranding holiday travellers, as the weather agency warned of further severe winter storms and high waves over the weekend.
Japanese airlines cancelled at least 159 domestic flights as snow closed all the runways at New Chitose Airport, the biggest air hub on the northern island of Hokkaido, transport companies said.
Several train services in Hokkaido and in the north of the main island of Honshu were also called off due to snow.
The Japan Meteorological Agency forecast up to 80cm of snow by Saturday morning in parts of central Honshu facing the Sea of Japan (East Sea).
It warned that the blizzard was carrying strong winds that would whip up waves of up to 7m on the eastern and northern shores of northern Japan. It also sounded an avalanche alert.

Okay so the next bad thing is actually the heavy snow (above's the article from Straits Times). I know we can't control the weather but at least we'd able to control the plane, etc.

Alright, so we boarded the plane. I'm like so excited to be back home.
And then the snow came,
the pilot had to give us false hope saying that we have to wait for a 15 mins or so to fly due to the bad weather.
Later on another 40 mins on clearing the runway.
Then saying one of the runways is close so we'll move to the second one which takes another like 15mins.
And then! OMG.
He said both's close and had to wait for another 40mins to clear the snow.
After that he said okay good news we're the fourth plane scheduled to fly. We waited and waited. hahhahha, guess what?
My dad saw the CAs (crew attendants) preparing cup noodles.
Uh yeah, then they told us flights are all cancelled and will be scheduled at 10am tomorrow.
To add on, we are all starving like shit.
Cause all of us didn't managed to have dinner and some even lunch. So we're like waiting and waiting, hot and hungry.

The stupidest thing is the CAs refuse to serve us. It's totally dumb ass when they say "oh the food has been over 4hours now we have to throw then away."
Uh HELLO?!
YOU GUYS SHOULD HAVE SERVE US INSTEAD OF THROWING THEM AWAY?!
We actually stayed in the plane waiting for like 4 hours, all hungry & angry.

In the end, the flight's cancelled. When we alighted,
the CAs gave us cup noodles, CUP NOODLES FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!
what the heck right? hahhahhaha.
But I wouldn't totally criticise the airline. Because they actually arranged all of us free rooms and free drinks where we practically robbed the store, hah.

Ahem so yeah, that's the bad part of the trip. Urgh.
Just don't make me mention it again.
& I shall post snowy snowy photos soon! :D
